Winter Wonderland

We had our first snow of the year this weekend and it was so much fun! Not only did we have quite a bit of snow (we estimate at least 3-4 inches) but it was very soft and powdery! Usually if we get snow here it is pretty "wet". The big girls had so much fun playing in it. Tait didn't get to play much because she is having trouble with her asthma so staying inside was a much better idea for her! She didn't mind too much though. She's not as crazy about snow as her big sisters are! I will warn you that there are quite a few pictures! :)

Madison playing outside when the snow first started to fall.

Madison's favorite thing to do is not sledding, not making snow angels or even snow men. She just LOVES to eat the snow! Almost every picture we have of her is her eating snow!

Since Madison loves eating it so much we decided to make snow ice cream...something that both Tim and I grew up making (on the rare occasion it snowed!)! It was so yummy!

Taitlyn waiting for her snow ice cream!
The girls playing one last time in the snow before bed. If you look closely, you can tell that they are in their jammies and winter coats!

This is what it looked like Sunday morning when we got up!
The girls getting ready to play. I made them take a picture before they stompped through all the snow!

This was the first year our girls had "official" snow attire! Madison loved the fact that she could even sit in the snow without getting cold or wet!

Our bush/tree right outside our front door. It was beautiful in the snow!

Madison...eating snow...once again!

Daddy helped the girls make a snow couch in the front yard. It was so cool and, as a friend of mine called it, very "white trash"! The girls loved it though! This is Madison and a good friend of hers who came over for a little while to play.

I'm not surprised even a little bit about Madison eating the snow. This is the girl who stored bananas under the books shelf incase of an emergency! haha!

And hides candy in her tights for later:)

Those pictures are so cute! I love snow ice cream also. My moms old boyfriend use to make it for us. He was from the south. It must be a south thing:)
